2013 Festitalia Italian Heritage Awards Dinner – June 6, 2013

Michelangelo’s Banquet Centre

The Festitalia Italian Heritage Awards of Distinction were introduced to the community in 2012 to commemorate Italian Heritage Month in June of each year, as designated by the Provincial Government.

Recognizing the positive impact that citizens of Italian heritage have made in our community, the Italian Heritage Awards program is designed to recognize the leadership of men, women and youth of Italian ancestry who have made significant contributions to the well-being of others and the betterment of the Hamilton community.

We are pleased to announce that 22 outstanding individuals will be awarded the 2013 Italian Heritage Award of Distinction at a dinner celebration to take place on Thursday, June 6th, 2013 at Michelangelo’s Banquet Centre. The theme of this year’s Italian Heritage Awards Dinner is:

“Una Bella Comunità – A Beautiful Community”.

As a strong volunteer driven organization, Festitalia has collaborated with other community groups for the past 38 years in celebrating, sharing and promoting Italian culture and heritage with the community at large and demonstrating that individuals of Italian background value our community and contribute to making it a better and more inclusive community for all.

Honourees were selected for making a significant contribution toward creating “Una Bella Comunità – A Beautiful Community”; the best place to raise a child.
