The Famee Furlane of Hamilton was founded in 1969 and was incorporated in 1972. This club was founded by persons who immigrated to the Hamilton area from the northeastern most region of Italy -Friuli Venezia Giulia. The founding members desire was to keep the traditions, culture, and language of the “Mother Land” alive.
Some traditional dishes from this region include: brovada e muset, gubana, and tiramisu.
